Evaluation On The Development Of Asia Pacific Gas Regional Pricing Center

In the new market environment,North America and Europe have gradually established regional pricing centers for natural gas.However,the rapid growth of natural gas consumption in the Asia Pacific region is due to the fact that the natural gas market has not yet formed a competitive market price,and the market premium is obvious.Major countries in the Asia Pacific region strive to establish regional pricing centers for natural gas in the Asia Pacific region.Therefore,the evaluation model of the development degree of regional pricing centers for natural gas in the Asia Pacific region can be used to evaluate the development degree of regional pricing centers for natural gas in major countries in the Asia Pacific region A dynamic evaluation is carried out to analyze the development process of major countries and make suggestions for their further development.Based on the study of international gas regional pricing center by scholars,this paper constructs a comprehensive evaluation model for the development of Asia Pacific Gas regional pricing center by using expert scoring method and principal component analysis method.Taking China as the evaluation object,it puts forward suggestions for the development of Asia Pacific Gas regional pricing center.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)the regional pricing center of natural gas can form the market-oriented price of natural gas based on the market supply and demand,which has a good restraining effect on improving the allocation of market resources and reducing the price risk of natural gas caused by the fluctuation of oil price.(2)The reasons for the formation of the international gas regional pricing center: the market-oriented reform of natural gas is the prerequisite for the formation of the natural gas exchange and trading hub.The market-oriented reform promotes the supply and demand of the natural gas market and infrastructure construction.At the same time,the development of the natural gas financial market provides the necessary support for the natural gas trading hub to become the natural gas regional pricing center.(3)The evaluation results show that China's construction of Asia Pacific Gas regional pricing center is in the development stage at present.The weakest link of China's construction of Asia Pacific Gas regional pricing center lies in the construction of pipeline facilities,natural gas futures trading and the number of market participants.
