The Design And Practice Of The Armour Clothing In The Large-scale Chinese Historical Opera Hanxin

In the current age with the rapid social development,people are attaching more and more importance on pursuing their inner spiritual world.The culture of opera was introduced to China from the west along with the May 4th Movement.With its developing and evolving of over a hundred years,the opera of China is constantly standardizing,improving and developing,which made it formed a unique Chinese characteristics.The Chinese long history of five thousand years has also become an inexhaustible supply of inspiration,as well as a treasure trove of materials,for the Chinese opera.The art of Chinese opera is an inevitable result of the development of the Social culture and human aesthetic art,as well as a wonderful collision between the Chinese and Western culture.Thus,it has become an opening window for developing and expanding the Chinese culture to the whole world,as well as an important form of artistic expression to enhance the confidence of the Chinese nation.In terms of the opera,the opera costumes play an important role in enhancing the expression and deepening the theme of the opera.With the development of the times,audiences put forward higher aesthetic requirements for the opera costume design.The opera costumes should be designed based on the plot and characters,and combined with music,lighting,props,makeup and actor scheduling,so as to fully express the theme of the opera and create the opera atmosphere.In recent years,the construction of Chinese opera costume system has gradually become institutionalized and standardized.The contemporary opera costume practitioners should have excellent costume design ability and profound cultural accumulation to cooperate with the thriving development of Chinese opera cause.According to the armor costume of the characters in opera "Han Xin" ——a national art fund project in 2019,this paper explores the design principles and methods of costume of opera with Chinese historical themes,studies how to use the color,style and pattern of costume to express the identity,personality,destiny and relationship of the characters in the opera,and explores the design method of combining traditional historical elements with modern innovative elements in costume of opera in China.The design was based on the characteristics of exaggeration,decoration,lightness and comfort in the armor costume of Han Xin,and fully considered the stage effect to design the armor costume,distinguish the roles of different factions,different positions and different personalities in the play from the color and style of the costumes,and even express the transition and transition of the fate of the whole characters.This paper mainly introduces the use of EVA,silica gel,leather and other materials to make armor costume through the process of silica gel mold turning,pouring mold,chisel copper and other processes,aiming to show the sense of weight and imposing manner of historical figures in the play with the production process full of industrialization,and it also standardizes the production process in detail,providing the design theory and production method for Chinese opera costume design professionals and reference.
