As an important driving part in the belt conveyor operation system,the structure and performance of the driving drum have an important influence on the normal operation of the conveyor.According to the results of statics analysis of the driving drum,the structure of the drum is improved by using finite element method,and a new structure model is established.ANSYS finite element software is used to optimize the design of the new type of driving drum,and the optimal structure is obtained by optimizing the balance among the quality,stress and deformation.ANSYS software is used to analyze the transient dynamics of the optimal driving drum,and the equivalent stress neaps are obtained under full load starting,stable operation and full load braking conditions.Referring to the Fatigue theory,the Fatigue life was analyzed by using the Fatigue module in the software,and the optimized mechanical performance of the transmission drum was stable.The minimum Fatigue life was about 1059 days.When considering the welding spot,the influence of welding spot on the strength and fatigue characteristic of driving drum is studied,and the position of maximum stress deformation is not changed,and the value is increased.The curves of the minimum fatigue life under the influence of overload and residual stress are obtained,which show that the welding spot has a significant influence on the fatigue life of the driving drum.After optimizing the structure,the maximum stress,strain and quality of the new driving drum are reduced by 14.578%,32.058% and 23.295%,respectively,which reduces the production cost and resource consumption.After considering the solder joints,the strength and fatigue characteristics of the driving drum are significantly reduced,and the service life is reduced by less than 1000 days,which provides a certain reference basis for the research of fatigue characteristics of the driving drum.Figure 57;Table 9;Reference 72...
