The petrochemical industry is one of the pillar industries related to the lifeline of the national economy and national security.The hydrogenation process is one of the most important refining methods for petroleum products.Under the action of hydrogen pressure and catalysts,harmful impurities such as sulfur,oxygen,and nitrogen in the oil are converted into corresponding hydrogen sulfide,water,and ammonia and separated.Hydrogenation saturation with diolefins and partial hydrogenation saturation of aromatics to improve oil quality.The failure of the heat exchange system of the hydrogenation unit and its associated pipeline has become a prominent problem that restricts the safety,stability,and long-term operation of the unit.The research on its corrosion mechanism has always been the focus of this field.For the failed air cooler,the CFD simulation results show that the bias current is an important reason for the failure of the air cooler tube bundle.Based on the results of CFD calculations,this paper designs and builds a set of tube-flow erosion and corrosion experiment equipment suitable for air coolers,aiming to explore the influence of different deflection angles on the erosion and corrosion of air cooler tube bundles.By measuring the wall thickness of the inlet tube bundles at different angles,the circumferential and axial wall thickness distributions of the tube wall are obtained;meanwhile,SEM and EDS tests are performed on typical corrosion expectations to obtain the corrosion morphology of key parts and the composition of corrosion products.At the same time,numerical simulation(CFD)is used to calculate the test section,analyze the flow field of the corrosion key parts,and combine the experimental data to obtain the mechanism of the air cooler tube bundle erosion and corrosion.In this paper,a combination of numerical simulation and experimental research is used to explore the erosion and corrosion mechanism of the air cooler tube bundle,which has important reference value for exploring the corrosion behavior and protection of the heat exchange system of the petrochemical system through the hydrogenation unit.
