Grain security is a matter of national destiny and people’s survival.The establishment of a grain traceability system can effectively assess and scientifically warn potential grain safety hazards,visualize and control the whole grain quality,and improve the level of grain quality and safety supervision.This paper takes an RFID-based grain traceability system as the research object and an industrialized and order-based grain supply chain as the application scenario,proposes indicators for evaluating the performance of the traceability system in terms of system operation efficiency and traceability quality respectively,and makes relevant research on the key technologies affecting its performance,to improve its traceability accuracy,data authenticity,and system security.The main research elements are as follows:1.To address the problems of difficulty in locating the traceability object and low traceability accuracy caused by granularity and bulkiness of grain,the GTIN-14 standard of the GS1 system is used to set the stage traceability codes of grain in each link.The minimum traceability unit of grain at each stage is defined to achieve the precise location of grain and improve traceability accuracy.On this basis,the stage traceability code is encrypted using the PRESENT algorithm to generate the final traceability code,so that consumers and regulatory authorities can query all information of grain at each link with one code,thus realizing grain traceability.Besides,the process of generating the final traceability code was analyzed,and the results showed that the solution can effectively prevent batch forgery of the final traceability code by external vendors.2.Aiming at the problem of difficulty in guaranteeing the authenticity of data in the existing grain traceability system,a data storage model combining blockchain and central database is adopted to guarantee the authenticity of data.The central database stores sensitive internal data such as the stage traceability code,and the blockchain stores the publicly releasable external data collected by sensors,ensuring that the stored data cannot be tampered with while guaranteeing the authenticity of the data source.The data storage model was also tested in the Ethereum development environment to verify its feasibility.3.To improve the security of the traceability system,a lightweight RFID authentication protocol based on the physical unclonable function,PLAP,was designed to address the security risks that exist when the RFID system works in the grain supply chain environment,and the protocol was formally analyzed using GNY logic to verify the authenticity of the protocol.Besides,MATLAB software was used to simulate the tag and reader authentication process under different circumstances,showing that the proposed protocol can achieve mutual authentication and resist counterfeit attacks.
