Study On The Application Of Sophora Japonica Dyeing Of Knitted Clothing Fabrics

In ancient China,Sophora japonica was regarded as an important plant dye for its convenient materials and bright yellow color.The fabrics dyed by Sophora japonica can have many functions such as anti-bacteria,anti-oxidation,anti-uv,etc..The knitted fabrics have many excellent properties such as soft feel,cool and breathable.Cotton/modal knitted fabric,pure cotton knitted fabric,cotton yarn and acrylic yarn were selected as test materials for the systematic study of Sophora japonica dyeing.The results showed that the optimum dyeing process of cotton/modal,pure cotton knitted fabric and cotton yarn with aluminum pre-mordant method was the extracting material-to-liquid was 1:80,p H value of the dyeing solution was 7,time was 10 min,temperature was 50 °C,and dyeing with iron post-mordant method,the optimum process was the extracting material-to-liquid was 1:20,p H value 6,time 30 min,temperature30°C.The fastness to washing and rubbing of the samples dyed by the optimum process of aluminum and iron mordant of Sophora japonica could reach more than 4 grades,the fastness to sunlight of aluminum mordant sample was above 3 grade,and that of iron mordant sample was 5 grade.Compared with the undyed fabric,the anti-uv property of the sample dyed by the optimized dyeing process increased greatly,and it had strong anti-bacterial property to Staphylococcus aureus and E.coli.Research on the register dyeing of Sophora japonica and indigo naturalis showed that,first dyed indigo naturalis and then dyed Sophora japonica more green and uniform color.As the concentration of Sophora japonica or indigo naturalis increased,the value of a* value decreased first and then increased,that is,the green light increased first and then decreased.In order to get the proper green,the concentrations of two plant dyes should be controlled.On the basis of optimizing the process and Chromatogram of register dyeing,the application of Sophora japonica dyeing in knitted clothing and decoration,baby onesies and children's T-shirts were designed and made.The knitted fabrics dyed by Sophora japonica can obtain ideal fastness and rich chromatogram,and can be used in many kinds of products,such as home textiles,underwear,children's clothing,sweaters,toys,etc.They can enhance the value of clothing in the fields of green environmental protection,medical care,health and safety,etc.,with broad market prospects.
