With the development of riveting technology,riveting performance represented by huck rivets is getting better and better.Riveting technology is widely used in aerospace,rail transit,bridge construction,modern mechanical equipment and other fields.However,how to quickly remove the rivets becomes an urgent problem to be solved when the structural connection needs to be disconnected in the process of equipment maintenance or disassembling and changing parts.The traditional tools such as electric drill and grinding tools have disadvantages such as low efficiency,high labor intensity and easy to damage the workpiece.Based on the prototype of rivet cutting device developed by short electric arc machining technology in the early stage of laboratory,a portable and efficient hand-held removal tool for rivet is developed for the engineering application.It has important engineering application value for reducing labor intensity and improving work efficiency.In this paper,based on the principle of engineering design goal,combined with the national mandatory standards and ergonomics standards of hand-held electric tools,the overall scheme of hand-held removal tool for rivet is determined,and the functional requirements and performance indicators of the tool are given.Aiming at miniaturization,the mechanical part and electric control part of hand-held removal tool for rivet are redesigned.In the mechanical part,the servo feed mechanism and arc breaking control mechanism are designed;in the electric control part,the high-performance stm32F407ZGT6 is used as the CPU of the controller to complete the control of processing pulse and servo system and the design of human-computer interaction system,and the program is compiled.Through established the model of servo feed mechanism and pulse power supply and machining process and control algorithm,the short electric arc machining rivet removal system simulation model is built,the optimization analysis of servo feed mechanism is completed,the tool electrode feed speed and gap reference voltage parameters are simulated,and the influence of these two parameters on the control gap distance is compared.To provide guidance for the subsequent processing parameters optimization test.After the design and manufacture of the tool,the commissioning test was carried out in the factory.The results of continuous processing test and polarity effect test show that the removal tool for rivet has good performance stability.Further,orthogonal optimization test of processing parameters was carried out for LMB10 rivets,and the optimal processing parameters of cutting rivets were determined.The hand-held removal tool for rivet developed in this paper provides an efficient and simple removal tool for rivet removal in industrial field.
