The revitalization of China’s time-honored brands is at the right time.Building more world-renowned Chinese brands is one of the important tasks at present.Many time-honored brands are not clear about their current market state,and aging brands lack activation methods and strategies.This paper takes the time-honored brand activation as the main research background,takes the Tianjin "parrot" time-honored brand accordion as the research case,deeply analyzes the current situation of Tianjin parrot accordion time-honored brand,and systematically puts forward the strategies and methods of brand activation.This paper summarizes from three aspects of marketing strategy,product quality and target users,integrates the knowledge and strategy of innovative design,and excavates four methods of appearance innovative design: shaping the form to continue the brand connotation and express the cultural heritage;Expand visual and emotional elements to create a variety of emotional experience appearance design;Select fine structure material and select different structural materials;New functions to meet the new practical functions.Summarize the guidelines for innovative design of hand organ appearance,highlight the advantages of accordion instruments,provide reference for the design of more other instruments,and provide power for the activation of time-honored brands.And take the opportunity of school enterprise cooperation,combine the accordion appearance innovative design theory with production practice,cooperate with enterprises to improve all links of design in the process of design practice,and form the final exhibition.
