Along with China's reform and opening up,the infrastructure sector,real estate and mining industries have continued to grow rapidly.The construction machinery industry,which is directly related to it,has also been growing rapidly.By 2020,the most representative excavator market size in the construction machinery industry,has reached 150 billion.In 2021,the opening of the 14 th Five-Year Plan,the acceleration of infrastructure construction,the intelligent development of social construction,etc.may jointly promote the development of China's excavator market.the market size is expected to reach $300 billion in 2026.China has become a major seller of construction machinery,far ahead of other developed and developing countries.But there are also some challenges that must be faced.For example,due to the large number of such companies,there is a lot of competitive pressure on prices.As market demand diversifies and the frequency of demand accelerates,the demand for inventory control and flow efficiency will increase for each company.In general,opportunities and challenges go hand in hand,but if the companies do not meet these challenges well,the so-called opportunities will not be seized.Headquartered in Tokyo,Japan,M has an annual global turnover of 1 trillion 666.5billion yen and employs around 10,000 people.Mainly engaged in the sale,processing and distribution of steel related businesses.By 2021,nearly 16 companies have been established in China,in Eastern,Southern and Central China.M,one of these subsidiaries,was established in 2007 and is mainly dealing with Caterpillar,the world leader in the construction industry,and is currently supplying main structural components for Caterpillar excavators.Caterpillar has other suppliers and suppliers to be imported in addition to M.Caterpillar is also facing stiff competition from other domestic excavator manufacturers.his paper takes Company M as an example and analyses various aspects of the current situation of intra-company logistics management;The analysis revealed relevant aspects,Based on these problems,the corresponding causes are analysed;Based on the analysis of these causes,different areas of improvement are then developed;Finally,based on these programmes,implementation and the corresponding evaluation of their effectiveness is carried out.Through this series of improvements,some of the logistics management problems encountered by Company M in its current development process can be solved.In the current volatile environment,it will allow M to further seize opportunities,avoid risks and get further development.It also serves as a reference point for similar manufacturers.
