In a constantly changing and customizing global competitive environment,an organization's supply chain agility directly impacts its ability to produce,and deliver service and products to their customers in a timely and cost-effective manner.The lean thinking derives from Toyota Production System(TPS)and focus on the value by centering on customers.Its purpose is to eliminate the waste with the application of pull strategy and JIT principle.This thesis will study how an organization can optimize supply chain.Firstly,it presents the supply logistics optimization,as the beginning of enterprise logistics,it connects the first layer of suppliers and manufacturers,has a great influence on the raw material inventory management,mainly by supply planning,effective goods receiving and storage management.While the internal logistics attributes to the production capacity through the coordination of the material flow and information flow.With respect to the JIT principle,the enterprise can improve agility and minimize the excess inventory in a cost-effective manner.The characteristics of JIT strategy is small lot size and more frequency.However,the reduction of inventory comes with the risk of decreasing service level for it reveals the operation inadequacy.To maintain and even deliver better service,this thesis aims to create a lean logistics.Lean logistecs focuses on adequate and efficient order request,involves minimizing all non-value-added activities that may occur at all level.S enterprise is an ETO type manufacturer with multi-product which requires to switch frequently and manage plenty of material.Therefore,the effectiveness is very important.In order to achieve a better supply logistics,this thesis use a series of ways,such as JIT purchasing in line with the takt time of production,receiving optimization,5S and so on.Moreover,based on the theory of seven types of waste,this thesis strives for creating a more rapid responsive system in both material flow and information flow.In that way,the feedback can be sent timely and S enterprise can achieve higher flexibility and shorter lead time.In conclusion,by implementing the lean logistics thinking,the company have significant gains in supply and internal logistics without increasing costs.In fact,the cost decreases,both in inventory-carrying cost and storage space cost.It saves about three hundred square meters and one human resource.The days of inventory also decrease two days.The success of implementation of lean logistics in S enterprise pilot other similar company by showing how leaner logistics can help companies achieve enterprise logistics effectiveness and efficiency.
