Due to the development of high and new technology,rubber damping material,as a special functional material,has attracted more and more attention for its extensive damping and noise reduction performance.The development of damping materials with excellent performance has become a research hotspot in all walks of life.Wide temperature range and high damping become the development direction of damping materials.In this experiment,the effects of different types of softener,antioxidant and filler on the processing properties,mechanical properties and damping properties of bromobutyl rubber were investigated.The experimental results show that both softener and antioxidant can reduce the Mooney viscosity of BIIR,and the more the dosage,the better the fluidity of the adhesive.The addition of filler can also improve the processing performance of BIIR.In this investigation,there are five fillers including silica,strong powder,rare earth,calcined kaolin and calcium carbonate.Data show that calcium carbonate has the best improvement effect,while silica has no obvious effect.The tensile strength of BIIR with cashew shell oil was the highest,but the difference was obvious before and after aging.The most stable tensile strength before and after aging is the vulcanizate with epoxy soybean oil.When the amount of softener increases,the tensile strength increases first and then decreases.When the amount of softener exceeds 5 parts,the tensile properties are unstable before and after aging.The more antioxidant,the lower tensile strength;When the dosage is 3-9,the tensile properties will be more stable.The tensile strength of BIIR is greatly affected by strong powder and rare earth.The elongation at break of BIIR increases with the increase of the dosage of softener,but the performance is stable when the dosage is 0-5 parts.The BIIR elongation at break with epoxy soybean oil was the highest.The effect of antioxidant on elongation at break of BIIR is not obvious,but it can reduce the difference before and after aging.The dosage should not be too much,9 portions is suitable.BIIR with qiangwei powder has the most stable elongation at break and the best anti-aging performance.Rubber with silica and calcium carbonate has lower elongation at break.The fixed extension stress of BIIR is inversely proportional to the amount of softener and antioxidant,and the more the amount,the lower the fixed extension stress.Among the softeners,epoxy soybean oil has the greatest influence on the constant elongation stress.After adding silica,the material has the largest fixed extension stress and the most stable performance.The hardness of BIIR decreases with the amount of softener and antioxidant.As rubber ages,it becomes harder.The BIIR hardness is the highest when silica is added.Compounding softener A has A great influence on the curing characteristics of BIIR.Increasing the dosage of softener can shorten the curing time.The flow of vulcanizate will be better with the increase of antioxidant dosage.BIIR can improve the processing safety by adding silica.RPA analysis shows that the damping performance of BIIR without softener is the best.With the addition of softener,the loss modulus G "and damping factor Tan ?decrease with the increase of dosage.The dependence of tan? on strain decreases with the increase of strain,while the dependence on frequency is not obvious.When the dosage exceeds 5 parts,there will be some slight changes.The addition of antioxidant will improve the damping performance of BIIR.And the more,the better damping performance.The damping factor Tan ? is strongly dependent on strain in the high strain region,while the loss modulus G "is opposite.The frequency dependence of the loss modulus G "and damping factor Tan ? of vulcanizate with different dosage of antioxidant was not obvious.BIIR with silica has strong strain dependence in low strain region.The best effect of the five fillers on improving the damping performance of BIIR is white carbon black and strong powder.The maximum damping peak of BIIR vulcanizate with the addition of compound softener A is 0.84,and the effective damping temperature range can reach88.8?.However,the damping peak value of modified cashew shell oil is 0.74 and the damping temperature range is only 66?.It can be seen that the temperature range of BIIR damping can be widened by the five softeners up to 24.8?,but the maximum damping factor is only 0.1 with little difference.When the amount of softener increases from 0 parts to 20 parts,the damping peak decreases from 0.879 to 0.74,with only0.139 difference.The corresponding damping temperature range is reduced from 93?to 63?.It was also found that the dosage of antioxidant had no significant effect onthe damping performance of BIIR vulcanizate.The damping factor of 5 vulcanizates increased by 0.08 when the antioxidant was not added to 20 parts,and the effective damping temperature range widened from 87? to 101?.However,changing the type of filler has little effect on improving the damping effect of BIIR.
