As the core component of engine,camshaft profile precision affects engine performance.The traditional contact measuring method can be used to detect the camshaft with high precision,but in some situations with high degree of production automation,it is difficult to give consideration to the fast and efficient measurement and will cause damage to the surface of parts.Therefore,this thesis uses machine vision technology to study the camshaft measurement system,the purpose is to realize the camshaft parts online measurement.This paper mainly completes the following contents.First of all,starting from the functional requirements of measurement system,this subject adopts linear array camera for measuring sensor.At the same time,based on the image acquisition principle of linear array camera,the control and sampling methods of the measurement system are determined,and on the CAM shaft measuring system overall scheme design and electrical design,according to the design scheme of hardware electrical and optical measurement system hardware selection.Secondly,based on the control principle of the electrical system of the camshaft measuring system,the overall electrical architecture of the camshaft measuring system is designed.Based on this,the electrical circuit diagram is drawn and the prototype of the camshaft measuring system is built.At the same time,the sampling method of equal interval is determined to sample each section of the camshaft,the reasonable sampling interval is calculated,and the measuring track planning method based on the linear array camera is given.Finally,the interface architecture of the measurement software is designed according to the functional requirements of the measurement software,and the functions of image information collection,servo control,system edge calibration and other functions of the measurement software are analyzed,and the camshaft measurement software is developed by c++ language.At the same time,the data processing method is studied.Through the processing of measured data,the measurement and evaluation of camshaft phase Angle,CAM lift error,roundness and cylindricity at shaft diameter are completed based on the calibration system.The experiment shows that the camshaft parts can be quickly and accurately measured by comprehensive measurement of camshaft shape and position error under one clamping condition.This topic based on the line array camera through the development of camshaft measurement special software to achieve online measurement of camshaft parts,can improve production efficiency for enterprises,reduce costs,can provide technical support for CNC camshaft parts optical precision measurement system development,has important significance for the precision and efficient measurement of camshaft.
