As a new type of composite material,composite color microspheres are of great significance to the development of textile printing and dyeing,biological detection,ink printing and other industries.In this paper,methyl methacrylate(MMA)is used as the main monomer,methacryloyloxyethyltrimethylammonium chloride(DMC)as the functional monomer,and N-methylol acrylamide(HAM)as the secondary function.Monomer,using azodiisobutylamidine hydrochloride(AIBA)as initiator,P(MMA-DMC-HAM)cationic nano-microspheres were synthesized by soap-free emulsion polymerization.Gardenia yellow/P(MMA-DMC-HAM)composite colored microspheres were prepared by adsorption of natural dyes),and the microspheres before and after adsorption were characterized by SEM,DLS-Size/Zeta,TG and FTIR.to study the performance characteristics of synthetic microspheres and their adsorption properties to gardenia yellow.The gardenia yellow/P(MMA-DMC-HAM)composite color microspheres were used as the main colorant to dye cotton fabrics,to research the effect of dyeing time and temperature on cotton fabrics dyed with composite colored microspheres and the color fastness of dyed fabricsThe experimental results show that,according to the monomer ratio,initiator addition,solid content and other factors,the minimum particle size of the synthesized P(MMA-DMC-HAM)cationic microspheres can be controlled between 74.2-93.3 nm,and the maximum PDI is only 74.2-93.3 nm.0.022,the Zeta potential can reach34.6-46.3 m V,when the synthesis monomer ratio is 8%,the initiator addition is 0.5%,and the solid content is 10%,the synthesized microspheres have a particle size of103.4 nm and a Zeta potential of 45.9 m V.And the dispersion is relatively good,the PDI is only 0.054.The particle size of the cationic microspheres adsorbing gardenia yellow increased from 103.4 nm to 116.7 nm,and the potential decreased from 45.9m V to 34.4 m V.In order to further improve the performance of gardenia yellow composite microspheres,water-based fumed silica(silica)was doped in the preparation of microspheres,and the proportion of doped silica was explored.The optimal synthesis condition was the proportion of functional monomers.The particle size of the synthesized doped microspheres is 67 nm,the potential can reach 42 m V,and the PDI is only 0.002.Gardenia yellow/P(MMA-DMC-HAM)composite color microspheres and gardenia yellow-silica doped composite microspheres were used to dye cotton fabrics,showing the characteristics of low dyeing temperature and short dyeing time,the best dyeing The time is only 30 minutes,the optimal dyeing temperature is only 30?,the dyeing conditions are mild,the color of the fabric after dyeing is bright,the color is uniform,the hand feeling of the fabric does not change significantly,and the washing and rubbing fastness of the cotton fabric after dyeing are improved.In particular,the light fastness has been significantly improved.Compared with the traditional dyeing method of gardenia yellow,the light fastness of gardenia yellow/P(MMA-DMC-HAM)composite color microsphere dyed fabrics can be improved by 1 level,and gardenia yellow.The light fastness of yellow-silica doped composite microsphere dyed fabrics can be improved by 1-2 grades.
