Chemical industry has gradually become the pillar industry of economic development in many countries,and chemical production has become an important part of daily production activities of human beings.However,due to the characteristics of the chemical industry,compared with other industries,this industry has a large potential safety hazard of production,once the safety accident happens,there will be serious consequences.Accidents in chemical industry are often not onefold,but complex with a strong randomness,and the occurrence of accidents is also prone to cause secondary accidents or more advanced accidents,thus producing domino effect.Therefore,it is particularly important to analyze and study the potential safety hazards of chemical enterprises.This paper takes a taurine chemical plant as the research object,analyzes and studies the hidden trouble of production safety of this plant,and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and preventive measures by analyzing the research results.In this paper,the basic situation of taurine chemical plant,the overall layout and production technology are introduced firstly.By using major hazards analysis method to find major hazards of the taurine chemical plant,and using the LEC risk evaluation method to analyze and find the equipment and area with higher risks,this paper draws the corresponding risk map.Then,by using the domino effect theory,the process of the domino effect analysis and the steps of the domino effect accident path of taurine chemical plant is determined,the initial accident scenarios caused by the risk point are analyzed and divided into regions.Then,this paper puts forward the corresponding accident consequences model and the domino effect extending probability model,after revising the model in combination with synergy of multiple accident points,the domino effect is calculated and analyzed for different initial accident scenarios.This paper focuses on the expansion path of the domino accident with the initial failure in the tank area.This paper also makes a comparative analysis of the influence caused by the change of storage tank reserves before and after the expansion of the plant.At the same time,the accident paths of domino effect caused by other two initial accidents are analyzed,and the paths of domino effect caused by different initial accidents are obtained.Finally,according to the analysis and calculation results,the risk points of the taurine plant are divided into two categories,and the corresponding domino control measures are proposed from the aspects of technology,management,control and so on,in order to provide guidance for the taurine chemical plant to reduce its production hazards.
