Study On The Influence Of Mass Media On Construction Workers’ Violation Behaviors

At present,the construction industry has become a pillar industry of China’s national economy.Due to the impact of operators,machines and tools,and natural climate conditions,construction safety accidents occur frequently,and the number of accidents and deaths is large,which has caused great social impact.In the study of internal and external factors that cause safety accidents and deaths at home and abroad,most scholars think that theviolation behavior of the construction laborers is one of the important factors that determine the occurrence of safety accidents.In the era of mass communication,the construction laborers are surrounded and infiltrated by the "information environment" and "knowledge information" provided by the mass media,and the working behavior of the construction laborers is influenced by the information provided by the mass media.Many studies show that this kind of influence is profound,continuous and multi-dimensional for the audience,and sometimes it also causes some prominent social problems,such as the influence of network information imitation on the social behavior of new generation construction laborers,the warning of safety accident news information on the behavior of the construction laborers,etc.Therefore,this paper intends to carry out research from the perspective of the influencing factors of the mass media on the violation behaviors of the construction laborers,and analyze the influencing factors and relevant paths of the mass media on the violation behaviors of the construction laborers,so as to guide and influence normative and safe practices behaviors of the construction laborers,and effectively reduce safety accidents.This paper uses literature analysis,case analysis,theoretical analysis,empirical analysis and other research methods.First of all,through literature analysis,this paper summarizes the basic concepts and theories involved in the study,and combs the factors influencing the violation behavior of the construction laborers by the mass media;secondly,based on the theory of communication,this paper analyzes and confirms the main influencing of the mass media on the audience,and constructs the theoretical path model of the influencing of the mass media on the illegal behavior of construction laborers combining with the theory of planning behavior Then,it puts forward the hypothesis of mass media on the influencing factors of illegal behaviors of the construction laborers,and uses empirical analysis method to verify the model again,and collects data through questionnaire,processes data with structural equation model,and explains the test results.Finally,based on the theoretical model,it is concluded that we should set up a positive attitude towards the use of mass media,pay special attention to the functions and functions of mass media in safety education and training,safety supervision and warning,safety regulation and enforcement,safety order maintenance,innovate the content and form of news reports,improve the media literacy of construction workers,continuously improve the violation behaviors of the construction laborers,and reduce safety incidents Therefore,to ensure the safety of the construction laborers.
