| China has been deeply in the predicament of "pollution refuge" for a long time,.The problems of energy consumption and environmental pollution have seriously restricted the sustainable development of China and force our country to pay more and more attention to environmental problems.The Fourth Plenary Session of the Nineteenth Central Committee of the Party elevated the construction of ecological civilization to the height of promoting national development for the millennium.However,as an important pillar of China’s economy,the manufacturing industry,due to its high energy consumption and high pollution,has fallen into a huge environmental protection dilemma,while realizing "economic development",it should also give consideration to "green development".Manufacturing servitization has become an important trend in the green upgrade of manufacturing industries.Under this background,studying the impact of manufacturing servitization on environmental pollution can effectively promote China’s implementation of the servitization transformation strategy and deepen the theoretical construction of manufacturing servitization and environmental protection systems.This paper uses the data of the WIOD(World Input-Output Database)from 2000 to 2014 to estimate the servitization level of China’s manufacturing industry,select industrial exhaust emission from various industries to measure environmental pollution,analyze the current situation of China’s manufacturing servitization and environmental pollution,and examining the relationship and impact mechanism between China’s manufacturing servitization and environmental pollution,the following conclusions are drawn:there is an inverted U-shaped relationship between manufacturing servitization and environmental pollution,The element substitution effect has a direct impact on environmental pollution,while technological progress,structural optimization,and scale effects have played an indirect intermediary role,the impact of servitization on environmental pollution will vary depending on the density of elements and the heterogeneity of pollution cleanliness.Combined with the previous research,this article believes that China should create an excellent servitization environment,promote servitization high-end development,achieve internal economies of scale,release servitization spillover effects,strengthen personnel trainingl,establish a resource sharing mechanism,implement the concept of service-oriented development,and get rid of the servitization transformation dilemma,improve the internal organizational structure of the enterprise and adhere to the principle of appropriate servitization. |
