Since the reform and opening up,China's economy has grown rapidly,but the mode of growth in which a large amount of factor resources have been invested is difficult to sustain,and the problem of environmental pollution has also become increasingly serious.The fundamental requirement for economic development in the new era is high-quality development,and the key to high-quality economic development is technological progress.Technological advances will improve resource utilization efficiency,optimize resource allocation,promote production efficiency,and ease environmental pressure.A comparative analysis of the emission reduction effects of technological progress from different sources can help formulate more targeted emission reduction policies.This paper uses panel data from 30 provinces in China from 2005 to 2015,and selects industrial solid waste,industrial sulfur dioxide,and industrial wastewater as environmental pollution assessment indicators.Describe the status of independent innovation,technology introduction and environmental pollutants in various regions of China,and summarize their spatial distribution characteristics.And the overall and local inspection of the spatial correlation of environmental pollution at the provincial level in China.Finally,based on the STRIPAT model,the spatial measurement method was used to compare and analyze the impact of different sources of technological progress on the three types of environmental pollutant emissions.The research conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The level of independent innovation and technology introduction in China continues to increase,and the upward trend is obvious,but the spatial difference is more significant.The provinces with strong independent innovation and technology introduction capabilities are mainly distributed in the eastern region and are overwhelming.China 's environmental pollution is weaker in the central and western regions;(2)China 's overall environmental pollution has obvious spatial agglomeration,and the spatial difference is more significant.Among them,the regions with high industrial sulfur dioxide emissions are mainly concentrated in the eastern region,and the central and western regions.The industrial wastewater discharge and industrial solid waste discharge are unevenly distributed,and there is a positive spatial correlation;(3)As an important source of technological progress,independent innovation and technology introduction have played a significant role in suppressing environmental pollution,and the industrial structure The deepening of environmental regulations,the level of economic development and the level of urbanization will further aggravate the environmental pollution situation.Finally,in light of China's current reality,this article proposes the following policy recommendations: strengthen cooperation in pollution control among provinces;strongly encourage independent innovation and focus on the transformation of innovation achievements;optimize the structure of foreign capital and guide the flow of high-quality foreign capital to current high-tech industries;to increase the proportion of high value-added products in export products.The above policy recommendations provide more detailed reference for effective implementation of emission reduction policies.This paper has 10 pictures,14 tables,and 137 references.
