Abstract/Summary:
With the recovery of the global economy,both traditional manufacturing enterprises and upstart industries from Internet or financial sectors,have been on the fast track of business growth.Many of them choose M & A to achieve the goal of rapid development,therefore,the success of M & A can be regarded as the success of enterprise growth.It has been proved by a large number of experiments and studies that how to properly deal with the employees of the acquired party,especially the core talents,plays a crucial role in M & A.In this paper,CE Group,as an American-funded enterprise,took advantage of M & A of similar enterprises to rapidly enrich their product lines,increase their market share,and provide more comprehensive solutions to customers.And,the acquisition of Israel N Company’s global modified plastics business is a huge reinforcement in their field of Engineering plastics.Meanwhile,C Company also exposed the problem of Human Resource Integration.In order to thoroughly analyzes the importance of career path planning in mergers and acquisitions,this paper decomposes the management problems of marketing posts in the merger process of C Company,a wholly-owned subsidiary of CE Group,with a business department of N Company in China,and puts forward the method of adjusting corresponding incentive and training measures via career planning steps,to solve the problems like loss of purchaser marketing personnel,and to enhance the enthusiasm of employees,as well as to achieve rapid integration of acquisition companies.Based on different needs of existing employees and the acquired employees in career development and objectives,C company added remodeling of psychological contract and organizational culture,talent identification &differentiation,and provided different training and development patterns for staff of different levels and importance.Through this study,We hope to solve the problem of human resources by career planning during M & A,so that more M&A cases can be carried out smoothly in the future,and hope to give some inspiration for similar cases from other companies.
