Gorz’s Ecological Socialism Thought

With the development of industry,the survival of human beings will be seriously threatened.People began to find effective ways to solve the problem of environmental pollution,theorists based on the political point of view of the ecological environment problems in-depth analysis,on this basis,produced the ecological political thought.Gauz is the main representative of the left-wing thinkers in France.He criticized the contemporary capitalist society.From the perspective of ecological politics,he deeply criticized the capitalist system,thought that the capitalist system was the root of ecological crisis,and put forward a representative view of ecological politics,advocated the construction of an ecological socialist society.Gauz’s eco political criticism of capitalism is very detailed.The problems in nature are the direct manifestation of ecological problems,and their root lies in the human and social problems caused by the capitalist system.To solve the ecological problems,we must improve the human political system.In explaining the causes of the capitalist ecological crisis,he thought that economic rationality occupied the dominant position,and thus put forward the concept of ecological rationality,which made a profound and comprehensive criticism of economic rationality.Gorz believes that in order to effectively alleviate the ecological crisis,we need to carry out the ecological reconstruction work immediately.However,because of the limitations of the capital society,the road of ecological reconstruction is very far away,and the socialist system can really achieve ecological rationality.The capitalist economic development model based on economic rationality was severely criticized by Gorz.At the same time,he also reflected on the ecological politics of traditional socialism.In addition,he also fiercely criticized the socialist system of the Soviet model.He pointed out that socialism under the Soviet model could not really be realized,and then Gorz put forward the idea of the future ecological socialist society.It advocates the construction of ecological socialist society,advocates ecological rationality,and adheres to "less production and better life";we need to thoroughly change the way of production and life of human society,so as to completely change the concept of capitalist consumption.Gorz believes that an advanced socialist society can fully realize the goal of everyone’s independent development.Based on the summary and analysis of relevant research literature at home and abroad,this paper analyzes the theoretical source of Gorz’s ecological socialism thought.It is pointed out that the theoretical basis of gauz’s ecological socialism includes Sartre’s existentialism,Frankfurt School’s thought and Marx’s classical writer’s thought.Secondly,based on the overall framework,this paper makes an in-depth study and analysis of Gorz’s ecological socialist thinkers.Based on the in-depth elaboration of gauze’s ecological socialism thought,this paper deeply analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of this thought on the basis of the basic theory of Marxism,and also explains the reference significance of this thought in the process of China’s ecological civilization construction.
