Health Assessment And Problem Diagnostic Of Liao River Conservation Area

Rivers can not only provide resources for human development and utilization,but also the carrier of water resources on earth.Its health condition is not only related to the sustainable development of the river itself,but also related to the development of the whole basin and the national economy and society.Liao river conservation area is located along the main stream of Liaohe River and is an important protected area in Liaoning Province.During the 12th Five-Year Plan period,the water quality of the reserve has improved significantly by rectifying the pollution problems in the conservation area.However,up to now,there is still a trend of substandard river management and water quality rebound.This article is based on river health evaluation and local standards at home and abroad,on the basis of reserves in liaohe river health assessment,and eventually build Liao river conservation area as the goal layer,in hydrology and water resources,physical structure,water quality,aquatic life,social attribute as the criterion layer and a representative sample of 12 indicators Liao river conservation area health assessment index system.This paper adopts the multi-index comprehensive graded weighted evaluation method to evaluate the river health status of Liao river conservation area during the"12th Five-Year Plan"and"13th Five-Year Plan".The specific evaluation results are as follows:（1）By comparing the results of the two periods,it is found that the hydrology and water resources score is 53.41 to 57.30 in the sub-health state;Physical structure 60.29to 67.80 in a healthy state;Water quality 67.02 to 80.77 from health to ideal state;The aquatic organisms 47.75 to 42.26 were in sub-health state;Social attributes 27.22 to34.30 are unhealthy.（2）Combined with the index scoring formula,the river health rating of Liao river conservation area increased from 46.80 in the 12th Five-Year Plan period to 51.50 in the 13th Five-Year Plan period,indicating that the river health status of Liao river conservation area is gradually improving.Biochemical oxygen demand（BOD₅）showed a rebound trend during the 13th Five-Year Plan period.Benthos in aquatic organisms showed a rebound trend.（3）According to the indicators of each criterion layer of Liao river conservation area during the"12th Five-year Plan"and"13th Five-year Plan",there are some problems in Liao river conservation area,such as water resource contradiction,weak flood control works,water quality and aquatic life showing a rebound trend.Based on the existing problems,this paper proposes countermeasures to protect and improve the Liao river conservation area,hoping to guide the sustainable and stable development of the Liao river conservation area,and also provide scientific research basis for the health evaluation of other rivers in China.
