A Study On The Pasta Culture In The Life Rituals Of Northern Shanxi

The northern Shanxi region is located in a transitional area from the LoessPlateau to the Inner Mongolia Plateau in Shanxi.In terms of administrativedivisions,it is now three municipal-level areas of Shanxi Datong,Shuozhou,andXinzhou.During thousands of years of development,it has unique geographicalfeatures.The environment,history and culture have created a special noodleculture in northern Shanxi.Specific life rituals were nurtured in this unique pastaculture,which made the people in northern Shanxi show their unique pasta cultureand customs at different stages of life,and provided a great opportunity for thestudy of life ritual and pasta culture Vigorous.Throughout the birth ceremonies,coming-of-age ceremonies,weddings,and funerals in the northern part of Shanxi,all are the combination of local customs and the wisdom of pasta.In the specificrituals,various pasta is endowed with profound symbolic meaning,making it avehicle for local people to pray for the continuation of blood and thetransformation of social roles.At the same time,it helps to strengthen thecommunication between family members and protect family members in social life.The relationship between them is harmonious,strengthens family cohesion,andinvisibly promotes the increase of social interactions,which deepens the regionalcultural identity of the region.This article takes the pasta culture in life rituals in northern Shanxi as the mainresearch object,using folklore and anthropological field investigations anddocument collection methods to analyze and introduce the historical culture andpasta types in northern Shanxi.Through combing the specific ritual process of liferituals in northern Shanxi,exploring the production methods of all kinds of pastaeaten in rituals and the cultural connotations behind them,and from educating thedaily behaviors of the people,regulating the emotions and behaviors of the groupAnalyze the social function between the life rituals and pasta culture in the north ofShanxi from three aspects: the bond that maintains interpersonal communication.In recent years,as people’s living conditions have been greatly improved,traditional life etiquette activities have gradually lost their traditional meaning inpeople’s daily life.Most young people have rarely been able to understand thepasta in the life etiquette in this region.Have a deep understanding of culturalconnotations.Based on this,this article analyzes the pasta in the rituals of life andthe cultural significance behind it from the perspective of folklore,and explores therole of pasta in the rituals of life in the inheritance of folk culture in northern Shanxi.
