Tightness is an essential criterion of evaluating a sealing device’s quality and performance.As its quality demand becomes higher,leakage detection trends to be the extremely important part in the production procedure.Nowadays,most of the gas leakage detectors on the market use PLC or single chip microcomputer as their central processor,which causes the problem of low automation and poor interface of human-computer.Besides,the current most popular algorithm,differential pressure method,suffers severe drawback that gas leakage rate can not be calculated when vessels volume is unknown,though it produces high detection accuracy in other cases.Recently,the volume compensation method begins to be an alternative choice,while this algorithm is also enduring the problem of low inspection efficiency and complexity control.Thus it’s absolutely necessary to develop a new leakage detection device with high automation and good balance between detection accuracy and inspection efficiency.The main contents of the research in this paper are as follows:(1)By analyzing the basic principles of the differential pressure method and volume compensation method,a hyperbolic leak detection method is researched,which is based on the volume compensation method.(2)By analyzing the functional requirements of the control system,ARM9 processor S3C2440 was chosen as the main control unit.The hardware and gas circuit were implemented.The hardware includes data acquisition circuit,power circuit,reset circuit,LCD interface circuit,communication interface circuit,performing control circuit.(3)The software of control system which include device driver,hyperbolic control algorithm,filtering algorithm,data fitting,and parameter curve display was completed.The Linux operating system which consist of U-Boot,system kernel,file system was construct.(4)Eventually,the experiment is preformed after the building of the embedded air leak detection platform.Experimental results show that the device based hyperbolic leak detection method has high detection accuracy and efficiency,reach the intended purpose of having good interface of human-computer and high automation.
