China’s renewable energy law has been promulgated and implemented for more than 10 years.During this period,China has vigorously developed new energy sources and entered a large-scale development stage.At present,the state has taken the development and utilization of new energy as an important measure to improve energy structure,promote environmental protection,and maintain sustainable development of economy and society,and set up the main mode of new energy development,which is to build large bases and access large power grids.In order to solve the problem of the active power balance and economic operation,after the new energy switching on the traditional distribution network in large-scale,it is necessary to further study the various new energy active output characteristics,power prediction technology,coordination control of power station level and system optimization control technology based on the basic grid structure of the regional power grid and the capacity of power grid’s acceptance and transmission.Based on the research of the new generation power generation characteristics and the station level active power control,this paper proposes an automatic generation control method considering the new energy access,and designs an automatic generation control system.First,it introduces the characteristics of the new energy power generation technology and its impact on the power grid after switching on.Then,study the field station active control strategy and put forward the active control process according to the characteristics of wind power and solar power station.Finally,based on the above research,the automatic generation control system for new energy access power grid is designed.The designed AGC system not only through the scheduling with security constraint end application contact,can be achieved in the power system of limit control and correction,but also through contact with the ultra short term load forecasting function,thus completing the advance control of the running state of the power system AGC.
