| In the process of production,enterprises need to focus on inventory management.The main function of inventory management is to balance the supply and demand between enterprises and customers.Reasonable inventory management can alleviate the financial pressure of enterprises,plan production and procurement more scientifically,reduce the uncertain risks faced by enterprises in operation,at the same time,it can improve customers’ satisfaction.However,if the inventory management is unreasonable,such as excessive inventory products,it will lead to a large amount of liquidity being occupied.Business operation turnover is not smooth and the enterprises will lose market competitiveness;Enterprises can not meet customers’ needs if they have less inventory products so that they will miss sales opportunities.JS Medical Devices Company has developed rapidly since its establishment,and the sales performance of this company once led the industry.However,the rapid development of enterprises makes them neglect the various problems that appear in the development.In recent years,with the expansion of enterprise scale and business scope,the problem of company inventory management has become increasingly prominent.There are many kinds of inventory products in medical equipment enterprises,and the grade and type of auxiliary equipment are different.So the inventory management of medical devices company is very difficult.In the increasingly severe market competition,scientific and reasonable inventory management is very important for JS company.JS company hopes to find out the existing problems in inventory management and solve these problems.That will reduce the cost of inventory management and improve the market competitiveness of enterprises.Based on the combination of inventory management and supply chain management theory,this paper studies the inventory management of JS company by using literature research,case analysis,investigation and other research methods.Firstly,the existing problems in JS company’s inventory management are analyzed from the aspects of inventory cost,inventory turnover rate,non-performing goods inventory and inventory fluctuation.Then analyzed the causes of these problems.Then the paper puts forward the optimization suggestions,mainly from four aspects: improving inventory control method,improving forecasting method,strengthening inventory control of non-performing goods and strengthening inventory management concept.The purpose is to make JS company’s inventory management and control effectively,reduce the cost of inventory management,improve customer service satisfaction so as to improve the competitiveness of enterprises in the market. |
