Research On Raw Material Inventory Management Of S Company From The Perspective Of Supply Chain

With the progress and development of the times and the process of global integration,enterprises are facing unprecedented challenges.Their competitiveness is no longer confined to the product itself,but also requires that they have a certain amount of ability to integrate resources.With the development of industry,the concept of supply chain management has gradually changed from emphasizing individual competition to focusing on supply chain competition.In order to cope with changing market demand and reduce enterprise costs,inventory management,especially effective management of raw material inventory,has become particularly important.This thesis takes S Company in automotive industry as an example to clarify the background,purpose,and significance of inventory management.It also summarizes the theory and knowledge on inventory management developed by scholars.By comparing the main inventory management methods of raw materials,this thesis concludes that S Company should choose appropriate inventory management strategies for the raw materials used,put forward design plans,and demonstrate the improved inventory management methods through simulating the data after the implementation of improvement measures.The benefits of information flow,product flow,and capital flow in supply chain can provide theoretical support and methodological guidance for enterprises to improve inventory management of raw materials.
