The original business model of Company J was selling mechanical and electrical products as sales agent.Since the end of 2017,Company J has transformed from a single equipment supplier to an integrated supplier of CCHP.The good quality and competitive price of their products has successfully obtained good feedback in the market, but the clients keep complaining about Company J’s late delivery.Late delivery also means great reduction of profit.Through the analysis of a large number of delayed delivery cases, this thesis believes that J’s existing organizational structure and project schedule management methods cannot effectively plan and control the project schedule. Therefore, the Critical Chain method was applied to the actual operation of the PY 2*400KW CCHP project. With full consideration of resource constraints, the project schedule was effectively optimized. Moreover,a management mechanism for PY project schedule control has been established. This thesis focuses on the schedule management under the consideration of collection situation.First of all, this thesis lists the scope of the PY project in detail, innovatively considering the preparation of payment application files as separate works and adds them to the project schedule;Secondly,by discovering the critical chain of the PY project, effectively optimized the construction period. Finally,a project schedule control scheme associated with fund occupation is established.By using the Critical Chain method, company J effectively shortened the construction period of the PY project and significantly decreased the cost of interests.Meanwhile, this case provides company J with theoretical and practical support on mode transferring, which has certain theoretical and practical significance.
