The design and quality of the light environment of navigation bridge will directly influence the visual ability of the crew,which is largely associated with their health and work efficiency.For example,after working in an environment with poor visibility for a long time,crew members’ attention and output will drop because they will suffer physical and mental exhaustion.Following is main problems arising from the current design of the light environment of navigation bridge:(1)Lack of design theory and evaluation system support(2)navigation bridge light environment design depends on personal preference(3)The result of light environment rendering dose not matches the actual situation(4)Lack of ability for optical analysis.This paper studies the design of the light environment of navigation bridge.Based on the basic knowledge and theory of light environment design,analyze and summarize the bridge light environment design method,as well as the light environment verification and evaluation method,the bridge design solution and evaluation were proposed.The optical simulation model of the light environment of bridge was established,according to the influence of light environment on humanity,an optical simulation model of the bridge was built for the analysis from the perspective of the crew.Firstly,This paper analyzes the basic theory of light and the human visual system,and studies the constituent elements of the ship’s cabin light environment and the influence of the cabin light environment on the crew,and the research on the basis of cabin light environment design is completed.Secondly,The light environment design foundation is combined with the navigation bridge,and the light environment design content and related design criteria of the navigation bridge are summarized.The light environment design scheme of the navigation bridge is proposed;the light environment design of the navigation bridge is completed.Thirdly,DIALux and SPEOS were used for the lighting layout design and verification of the bridge,and a detailed design solution was proposed accordingly.In addition,the objective evaluation and subjective evaluation method were used to comprehensively evaluate the design scheme,and the light environment verification and evaluation methods for navigation bridge is completed.Finally,an optical simulation model of the light environment was built by SPEOS based on the solution mentioned above.As a result,the analysis was accomplished on the base of the simulation result from fields of view,visual readability,visibility,comfort,adaptation time and the color rendering of light sources.
