The aircraft cockpit is the main place of pilots' executing task and interacting information with aircraft.Pilots are vulnerable to environmental, mechanical, physical and other various factors when they perform combat missions. With the improvement of aircraft complexity and integration, these factors directly affect the pilots' operational comfort, cognitive characteristics and ergonomics.Good cabin ergonomics is an important guarantee for the pilot to complete the task efficiently and give full play to the aircraft performance. In this paper, the influence of light environment in cockpit on the visual ergonomics of pilots is studied. In the hope of providing a reasonable and comfortable cabin environment for pilots;fully playing the pilots' visual function;reducing the pilots' workload;improving the visual performance and ensuring flight safety.Based on the foreign advanced standards of light environment and ergonomics with dynamic tracking, analyzing the domestic and foreign relevant standards of light environment from the formulating background, content, scope of application and effectiveness of standards. The cockpit light environment design guidelines are formulated using the comparative analysis of domestic and international standards, with the relevant researching results. In this paper, two experiments are designed, which are visual workload experiment and visual ergonomics experiment under different illumination environment. The former is the dual task test(the main task for the flight simulator, the second task for mental calculation),taking the workload model Wickens as the theoretical basis, using 3 methods, including task assessment, the subjective assessment and physiological measurement,to evaluate pilots' visual workload under different light environment.Based on visual performance, blink rate, heart rate variability,LF value,RMSSD value and NASA-TLX value for the index to establish comprehensive evaluation model, calculating the weight of each index using the entropy method,to determine the illumination environment of the minimum visual workload. The second experiment is based on visual load and takes experimental performance and eye movement data(fixation time and saccade speed)as the evaluation index to establish pilots visual ergonomics evaluation model, finally determine the best illumination in the cockpit.
