With the development of ship informatization and intelligence,a large number of integrated displays and other navigation-aid luminous display devices are used in ship bridge,which makes the original "dark and quiet" mode of light environment in the bridge more and more complicated.The bridge is the core area to control the navigation of the ship.For the deck officer who carry out navigation watch through the video display terminal operation during night navigation,the unsuitable light environment has an impact on their visual efficacy and the safety of the ship during night navigation.Reasonable bridge light environment is helpful to improve the visual comfort and duty efficiency of deck officers during night navigation and reduce the safety risks caused by human causes.In order to objectively and scientifically evaluate the quality of the light environment in the ships bridge during night navigation and ensure the safety of ships during night navigation,by analyzing the characteristics of the light environment in the bridge,the influence of the light environment formed by the navigational AIDS in the bridge during night navigation on the visual and psychological aspects of deck officers is summarized,and the influencing factors of the light environment on the visual and psychological aspects of deck officers are found out.The light environment evaluation index system of night navigation ship bridge was established.In order to make the evaluation system more scientific,reasonable and operable,the weight of each evaluation index is calculated by issuing questionnaires and using analytic hierarchy process.According to the provisions of relevant standards on the light environment quality,the light environment quality of night navigation ship bridge is divided into four levels.Fuzzy matter-element theory is used to objectively and scientifically evaluate the light environment in the bridge of a night navigation ship.The matter element to be evaluated is constituted by the quantitative value of qualitative and quantitative indicators,and then analyzed and calculated according to the general steps of fuzzy evaluation.Finally,the grade of light environment is determined.The representative data of ship’s bridge light environment were obtained,and each index value of Y’s bridge light environment during night voyage was obtained through field measurement and field scoring.Then the light environment in the bridge was evaluated by example,and the grade of light environment quality in the bridge during night voyage was obtained as good.It is concluded from comprehensive analysis that the characteristics of instrument light source affect the visual efficacy of deck officers during night navigation,and the factors such as instrument brightness and instrument glare have great influence.Based on the analysis results,measures such as controlling the luminance and glare of instruments in ship’s bridge,designing scientific and reasonable light environment,and adjusting the light environment adaptive are proposed to reduce the adverse effects of light pollution in ship’s bridge on the visual efficacy and safety of deck officers during night navigation.By analyzing the influence of the light environment of night navigation ship bridge on the visual effect of the deck officers,the representative light environment of night navigation ship bridge is evaluated,so as to design or adjust the layout of the instruments and the light environment plan,pay attention to the negative impact caused by the unsuitable light environment of ship bridge,and create a good night navigation light environment.It can also assist relevant departments to establish relevant standards to prevent the excessive use of display screens in the bridge along with the intellectualization of ships,which may aggravate the visual load of deck officers on night voyage.
