Research On The Financial Risks Management Of H-EPC Projects

In recent years,EPC(Engineering Procurement Construction)has dominated the engineering contracting market and become a mainstream mode.A huge number of design enterprises including HD company regard EPC business as an important development strategy for the transformation and upgrading of enterprises.The EPC mode is characterized by its long cycle and high risks.For a long time,financial risks management is ignored in the management.This thesis studies the financial risks management under the EPC mode.At first,the thesis talks about financial risks identification,and conducts research on cost control,comprehensive budget,capital management and other aspects.In addition,the thesis takes HD company as a research case,analyzes its financial strategies based on the EPC financial management according to the project process.This thesis,through the literature review,theory introduction and case study,combines theory with practice,and integrates financial management means into the design,procurement and construction processes.The case analysis of this thesis serves as a reference for the combination of engineering management and financial management,enriches the content of engineering management,and thus improves the engineering management level of EPC.Meanwhile,it provides guidance and experience to design institutes on improving financial management.After all,design enterprises in real life are faced with many difficulties for a successful transformation.During the process of transformation,they may face risks mentioned in the thesis and these risks are a large obstacle to their business development.After the in-depth analysis and research of the problems facing enterprises,this thesis puts forward specific strategies,and suggests that the financial staff of design enterprises should strengthen financial management through budget and capital management.The thesis also suggests that the financial staff,based on the budget,contract,capital and accounting data,should improve the efficiency of financial management by means of information technology,so as to provide strong support for the successful business transformation of design enterprises.
