Large torque flywheel belongs to reaction flywheel,which can output large reaction torque with high angular acceleration and fast rotation speed change.It is widely used in multipurpose satellites with high resolution and quick response due to its high control accuracy of output torque and quick response as the critical actuating mechanism for attitude controller of satellite.The reaction flywheel is necessary to complete acceleration,deceleration or switch forward and reverse switching repeatedly in very short time.Under this severe condition,the wear of bearing cage accelerated due to increased impact between bearing cage and steel ball,which causes early wear failure of bearing.In this article,the simulation model of angular contact ball bearing with the variable rotation speed is established based on the dynamic analysis of the angular contact ball bearing,according to the working condition of the bearing assembly of the high torque flywheel.Compare the stability of cage with constant speed and variable speed,and analyze the influence of the axial preload of the bearing,the clearance of the cage pocket and the guide clearance on the running stability of the bearing through the motion simulation of the bearing assembly of the high torque flywheel.Reduce the steel ball slip at the fast speed of zero crossing and improve dynamic characteristics of the bearing during the speed change and the speed of zero crossing operation by optimizing the structural parameters of the bearing,the structure of the cage and the clearance ratio,the axial preload.The requirements of long life and low friction moment of the bearing are guaranteed in the design.At last,the problem of the running stability of flywheel bearing with various speed is well solved through the verified test of the bearing in large torque flywheel and the correct the simulation analysis results.In this article,it is found that the stability of cage of variable speed bearing is worse than that of uniform speed bearing.The maximum slip rate of cage can be effectively reduced by increasing axial preload appropriately.The optimal control range of axial preload is 52.5N-57.5N for the bearing assembly of the flywheel and the gap between cages is optimized in this article.Finally,the correctness and reliability of the mathematical model given in this paper are verified by the running stability of the bearing assembly in large torque flywheel.
