Research On The Application Of Urban Physical Examination In Urban Planning

Urban planning has always emphasized the current research on the social,economic,cultural,and ecological aspects of the city,but it is limited by the level of technological development,the content and depth of the analysis are insufficient to meet the needs of urban development.Moreover,due to insufficient prediction of urban development,a series of urban problems often occur.Enriching urban assessment content,improving existing assessment methods,and improving the assessment framework are inevitable choices for urban physical examination,and also the inevitable requirements for measuring the current status of urban development and the goals of urban planning development.Therefore,this article draws on the concepts of "signs" and "checkups" in Chinese medicine,and takes "the application of city checkups in urban planning,especially in the evaluation of urban renewal" as the research object,and conducts the following research contents: First,Based on the origin,content composition,and current urban planning application of urban physical examination,the planning and application research of urban physical examination was carried out.Secondly,by analyzing the connotation of urban planning decisions in the process of urban renewal,that is,optimizing the urban spatial structure and reorganizing urban communities to improve public service capabilities,clarify the physical description requirements of urban renewal planning decision-making,problem diagnosis requirements,etc.,and clarify the essential goals and requirements of physical renewal physical examinations for urban renewal.Based on this,this article explores domestic and international experience has made relevant theoretical preparations for the study of urban signs and physical examination under the background of urban renewal.In formulating and improving the application framework of urban renewal physical examination and assessment,this paper relies on data-driven urban spatial analysis and data mining methods.Based on urban basic spatial data,urban operating status data,and urban social network data,two analysis methods are proposed.One is the method for supporting the description of physical signs in urban renewal planning decisions,including urban functional structure identification,central system identification and urban life circle identification;the other is problem diagnosis support methods in urban renewal planning decision,Including diagnosis of urban structure problems,diagnosis of urban center system problems,diagnosis of urban life circle.Therefore,an urban update physical examination evaluation framework including comprehensive integration of spatial data,physical description,and problem diagnosis was initially constructed.Finally,this article takes the urban renewal project in Xindu District,Chengdu as an example,and carries out relevant empirical research.Successfully identified the current physical conditions and urban development issues at various spatial scales in Xindu District,and provided targeted indicators for optimizing urban spatial structure,reorganizing urban communities,and improving public service capabilities through urban renewal.
