Research On Revival Design Of Historical And Cultural Famous Towns Cultural Space In Chongqing

As the material carrier of the continuation of Chinese historical texture,the historical and cultural famous towns contain the memory of the specific historical period,and the cultural space,as the material carrier of intangible cultural heritage,reflects the value characteristics of the whole ancient town,and embodies the traditional life and cultural connotation of the ancient town.Under the background of globalization,with the rapid progress of the new urbanization construction,many ancient towns with local characteristics are gradually disappearing.The residents of the ancient town for their own development,the material form of the ancient town has been transformed,due to the lack of in-depth understanding of protection of historical and cultural famous towns,it indirectly result in unreasonable use and destruction of the ancient town’s natural environment,historical streets,historical buildings and so on,and has brought serious challenges to the protection of the ancient town cultural space.Chongqing has a long history,rich in cultural resources,has a profound cultural heritage and cultural connotation.In this paper,historical and cultural famous towns of Chongqing as the research object,research on the ancient town cultural space heritage and development.On the basis of reviewing the relevant theories and protection practice at home and abroad,this study explores the concepts and methods applicable to the cultural space heritage of Chongqing historical and cultural famous towns.Through the field research of the historical famous towns in Chongqing and the reference of relevant literature,this paper sorts out the cultural space of Chongqing’s historical famous towns,and finally puts forward the principles and strategies of cultural space revival.The following is the main research content of the paper:The first part,expounds the background,purpose and significance of the research,determines the research scope and methods,and then combs the theories of cultural space and historical and cultural famous towns at home and abroad;The second part,expounds the theoretical structure of cultural space of historical and cultural famous towns,including the definition of relevant concepts,elements and characteristics,classification,spatial and temporal evolution,function and value and so on.The third part,analyzes the characteristics and current situation of the representative cultural space in the historical and cultural famous towns of Chongqing based on the field research;The fourth part,puts forward the principles and objectives of cultural space revival design of historical and cultural famous towns,and puts forward the strategies of cultural space revival design;The fifth part,the historical and cultural famous town cultural space of Chongqing revival design practice.
