Study On Delineation Methods Of Urban Regeneration Units And Regeneration Strategy Of Center District In Wuhan

With the further deepening of urbanization in China,urban planning and construction has gradually shifted from "incremental expansion" to "stock optimization".Under this background,Wuhan has carried out urban renewal action based on "the renewal of old village,factory and city" with reference to the experience of Guangzhou and Shenzhen.Although urban renewal under this model provides stock space for urban construction,it is often dominated by local economic interests.Over-development causes problems such as excessive regional load,insufficient public service facilities,and conflicts with the planning management system.In order to cope with the problems above,this study attempts to build a system of delineation methods of urban Regeneration units based on the spatial identification of urban Regeneration area,attempts to explain the connotation of the renewal unit with a new idea,and takes the main urban area of Wuhan as an empirical research object.Then suggest the regeneration strategy based on the delineated urban Regeneration unit.This article mainly contains the following three parts:Part one.First,according to three aspects of urban Regeneration goals such as functional goals,social-cultural goals and ecological goals,to sort out the relevant elements and evaluation indicators,and to build the evaluation system of spatial identification for urban Regeneration area based on the construction of "target-element-indicators".Then,to describe the relevance between each indicator and urban regeneration,and the identification method of each indicator.Finally,to calculate the comprehensive weight value of each indicator by AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process).Part two.An empirical study on the center district in Wuhan.First,to evaluate the implementation of existing renewal planning of center district in Wuhan,and to analyze and summarize the existing problems.The evaluation found that urban renewal carried out under the existing urban renewal system in Wuhan has some problems such as insufficient renewal implementation rate,single renewal model,and different standards for renewal planning,these problems will provide ideas for the method of delineating the regeneration units of center district in Wuhan.Then,according to the spatial identification evaluation method of the urban renewal area,to identify the urban regeneration area of center district in Wuhan.Finally,to delineate the urban regeneration units due to the regeneration area which have been corrected.Part three,according to the delineation of urban regeneration units,to propose regeneration strategy of center district in Wuhan.Including hierarchical classification and control strategies of urban regeneration units,functional space regeneration strategies,social and cultural space regeneration strategies and ecological space regeneration strategies.
