With the acceleration of urban construction,the vitality and vitality of historical buildings with rich cultural heritage are gradually being lost.Historical buildings reflect the cultural precipitation of a city.A city without historical buildings has no cultural heritage and social spirit.The period of the Republic of China was an era when the country was in a state of turbulence,but the ideology and art were extremely rich.The historical architecture of the Republic of China has witnessed the integration and development of Chinese and Western art during the Republic of China period and has important architectural art value.However,with the rapid development of cities today,the problem of leaving the historical buildings of the Republic of China is becoming more and more prominent.How to protect and activate the historical buildings of the Republic of China is a problem that we urgently need to solve.The research in this article first combs the existing research,and then analyzes and summarizes the artistic characteristics of historical buildings in the Republic of China period.In the end,the author was commissioned to start the reconstruction design of the old site of Jinsui Railway Bank,analyze its historical and cultural context and artistic value,and apply theoretical research to rationally design it.The transformed bank has continued its functional attributes and combined with the new era Internet technology to create smart bank characteristic outlets;at the same time,it has the exhibition attributes of small museums and displays a lot of precious historical materials in the Republic of China period in its exhibition area.By revitalizing it,creating a value system that conforms to China’s excellent traditional culture,thereby generating economic,cultural,ecological,and social benefits,and achieving the purpose of adapting the architectural heritage of the Republic of China to the new era.This plan hopes to provide reference and ideas for the contemporary society to transform and design the historical buildings of the Republic of China.
