At the present time, Hebei province protection of historical and cultural heritage,continued growing in urban context, and at the same time, Government departments arealso actively taking measures to them. Although Shijiazhuang owned the scale of buildingin the period of the Republic of China is small, but it is also a special kind of cityresources. And the existing buildings in the period of the Republic of China inShijiazhuang has full of important political and historical significance. Shijiazhuang inChina’s revolutionary history occupies a special, glorious location. However, there is verylittle study on these buildings; protection on these buildings has not yet been givensufficient attention.This article provides studies within the period of Republic of China buildingdecoration art. By examining construction in the period of preservation in the region,analyzing and collating of their architectural, I’m going to make a summary itsmanifestations of Architectural Digest and geographical features, to serve as theoriesreference for local protection and development of the existing buildings in the period ofthe Republic of China.The papers is going to be written from the overview of the period of Republic ofChina buildings decoration art and cultural, historical background, and be analyzedfeatures of architectural style and art deco in the period of Republic of China inShijiazhuang. The papers will combine the regional culture in Shijiazhuang, and go furtherto the decoration, pattern, color, material and technical of constructions in the period ofthe Republic, then analyze and collating, finally, from the scientific point of view, givesome recommendations for Shijiazhuang architectural protection and heritage in theRepublic of China.
