| Natural ventilation is one of the most commonly used methods for passive design of buildings.Especially in the extreme hot and humid climate in the south of China,how to rationally utilize the natural ventilation strategy to exhaust heat and cool public buildings with high energy consumption,improve indoor thermal comfort and save energy is the focus of the design.However,with the gradual popularization of air conditioning equipment in buildings,natural ventilation is gradually neglected and diluted in the design process.At the same time,domestic existing related standards and research results,the lack of on architectural space model level of theoretical system of natural ventilation design strategy,also lack can provide reference for the designers of the natural ventilation design strategies,graphic language system lead to the designer in public buildings in the process of the natural ventilation design practice often there,only by experience,lack of guidance system design.Foreign researches on passive design of buildings,including natural ventilation,started earlier,forming a relatively complete theoretical system and completing a large number of excellent architectural works.However,the framework of these theoretical studies and the spatial patterns and design methods of architectural cases are not directly applicable to the hot and humid climate of China due to the differences in climatic conditions.However,Hong Kong is a hot and humid climate zone,and was influenced by western architectural culture earlier than the mainland.Since the 1950 s,public buildings have developed rapidly with the acceleration of urbanization.A large number of outstanding architects in Hong Kong adhere to the concept of ecological design and pay attention to the response of buildings to natural climate.On the basis of learning from foreign experience,they adopt ecological design strategies that adapt to regional climate.Their excellent architectural works are worth learning from,but there is no systematic study on such architectural cases.Aiming at building in hot and humid regions of natural ventilation design in the existing research,the lack of design strategy theory system on the level of spatial pattern,lack of reference for the designers of the graphic system design strategy,and the lack of an outstanding case of the appropriate reference typed combing and analyzing problems,through literature review,software analysis,field research,case analysis,summarizes methods such as in-depth research.The Climate Consultant was used to analyze the Climate characteristics of Hong Kong and surrounding areas,and the thermal comfort design strategy and passive design strategy approved by the software were obtained.On this basis,the overall design strategy of natural ventilation for buildings in hot and humid Climate areas was summarized.Field research was conducted on cases of public buildings mainly in Hong Kong to analyze the design methods used in natural ventilation of building cases,extract and transform them into corresponding spatial pattern diagrams,and classify them according to the summarized overall design strategy of natural ventilation of buildings.According to the application of various spatial pattern design strategies in specific cases,this paper analyzes and summarizes their application scope and application methods,and establishes a relatively complete graphic system of architectural natural ventilation spatial pattern design strategies.Based on the system,a specific architectural design is completed,which provides a case reference for the designers to apply the design strategy of natural ventilation space.In the end,through the software analysis summarizes the eight suitable for hot and humid climate conditions in and around Hong Kong public building the overall design of natural ventilation strategies,respectively is: increasing the building shape coefficient,to strengthen the building thermal pressure ventilation,open layout,floor overhead,facade thermal buffer area,roof ventilation,grey space and outdoor greening and pool.For Hong Kong and the surrounding areas of the case of nearly 50 outstanding construction field investigation,and acquired a lot of building basic information,absorb the natural ventilation design experience and strategy,and extract natural ventilation space pattern,by typing combing and analysis to establish a set of architectural space model of natural ventilation design strategy,graphic system from space combination to construct practice,contains the body openings,courtyard space,the bottom overhead,duct way of multiple strategies such as well.On this basis,the new design of the lee siu couple building and school of further education of the university of Hong Kong was completed.The above research results provide some theoretical basis and reference for the design practice of natural ventilation in hot and humid areas of China. |
