Research On Transformation Of Industrial Factory Buildings In Hefei

With the rapid economic development of Hefei in recent years,the city continues to expand to the surrounding areas.Many old industrial plants have been gradually located in the central city,which has brought serious environmental pressure to the city.However,due to the lack of attention to industrial heritage from the government departments of Hefei,the protection of industrial heritage in the city is relatively backward.Therefore,a large number of old industrial buildings in the old city of Hefei have been demolished in recent years.In order to protect the industrial heritage of Hefei,the author studies the protection and transformation strategies of the single-layer old industrial plants in Hefei,which will wake up the public’s memory of the times and inherit the industrial civilization of the city.First of all,based on the general understanding of the existing state of old industrial buildings in Hefei,the purpose and significance of the research are clarified.While the relevant concepts and research scope are defined,the research methods are determined.And the research status of related fields at home and abroad is summarized.Secondly,by on-the-spot investigation about the general distribution of the old industrial plants in Hefei,the basic types and preservation status of these old industrial plants are summarized.Also,the article analyzed the reasons for the backward protection and utilization of the old industrial plants in Hefei in detail.Thirdly,based on the research of relevant literature and domestic excellent cases,the paper summarizes the protection and transformation strategies of single-layer old industrial plants,which sorts out some special methods suitable for the local area for the singlelayer old industrial plants in Hefei.Finally,through the analysis on three typical examples,the transformation mode is discussed based on the previous research theory,which points out what to be improved in the protection and transformation.The research on the protection and transformation strategy of single-layer old industrial plants in Hefei can play a guiding role in the protection and utilization of old industrial buildings with industrial heritage value.Also,it can play a positive role in the inheritance of industrial civilization and cultural construction and let the people of Hefei know more about the history of urban industrial development.In addition,when the old industrial plant is transformed and reused,it can promote the upgrading of urban industry and make up for the layout of urban functions,which improves the urban environment and the quality of life of residents.
