Study On The Typology Practice Of Contemporary Architecture In China

After the end of World War II,Western architects clearly felt the limitations of modernism.In order to seek the future of architecture,people began to reflect on modernist architecture.The Western architectural typology thought represented by Italian architect Rossi came into being.At the same time,Chinese architects began to reflect on the consequences of modernism spontaneously,and designed a series of inspiring and exploratory architectural practice creations.The author divides the practice development of architectural typology in China into three stages since 1949: spontaneous exploration at the beginning of the new period(1950s-80s),preliminary application under the guidance of theory(1990s)and based on The diversified development of the locality(after 2000)attempts to illustrate the development process of architectural typology theory and its design methods in China.In recent years,according to the author of intensive research in related fields,built our country to be creative practice collected.This paper screens Chinese contemporary architectural creations with typological features or typological methods since 2000.The architectural typology design process is divided into two phases: type selection and type conversion.The type selection is based on the prototype source,and a set of harmonious order or form is obtained through the abstraction of the schema,and the original schema is combined or changed,and finally the abstracted type is obtained.The ultimate goal of typology research is to restore the classification of the classified induction to a new form.From the functional and semantic structure,type conversion is the specific operation method and means to restore the prototype to a specific place environment.The author divides the conversion process into two aspects: rational reasoning and perceptual response.Through the study of typology practice in Chinese architectural creation at the time,it first promoted the development of typology in the future in China;secondly,it can sum up the specific methods of prototype abstraction and restoration in the design process,in order to summarize the practical The design method of applied typology in China and the guiding of future architectural practice have practical significance.Finally,people can reawaken the cognitive memory of “Place Perception” of urban architecture.
