Research On Tectonic Logic Of Minimal Architecture Based On Form Generation

Minimal architecture originated from the field of minimalist literature and art in the 1960 s.With its concise form,pure space and exquisite structure,it has developed into an important force in the current world architectural trend.In view of the present situation of systematic deficiency in the thinking of relevance between form generation and tectonic logic in Chinese academic circles,it is of great significance to reveal the relationship between form generation and tectonic logic by taking the binary contradiction between simplified form and complex tectonic logic of minimal architecture as the breakthrough point.Taking tectonic logic of minimal architecture as the research object,this paper traces the cultural origin of minimalist architecture in terms of philosophy,religion and art,summarizes the operation methods of tectonic logic from three aspects of structure,structure and material respectively through case analysis and graphic analysis,and combines with comparative analysis to sort out and summarize its relationship with form generation.There are two relations between form generation and tectonic logic in minimal architecture,that is,the clear expression of "Tectonic" logic and the abstract expression of "Anti-Tectonic" logic.The "Tectonic" logic is that the structural force logic is clear,the structural connection logic is honest,and the material connection logic is rational.They correspond to the structural vision,the detail vision and the process vision of the architectural form respectively.The "Anti-Tectonic" logic include structural integration and concealment,structural continuity and smoothness,material juxtaposition and collage,etc.They correspond to the form of "light and thin","integrity" and "conflict".This paper systematically combs the tectonic logic of minimal architecture,discusses its specific impact on the form generation,and makes up for the lack of thinking on the relationship between form and tectonic.It also deeply analyzes the generation of architectural forms under the guidance of different operation methods in order to play a guiding role in the actual design process and provide some enlightenment for the development of Chinese architecture.
