Nowadays,road traffic accident is a serious threat to human life and people’s daily lives.The incidence of traffic accidents in China has been at a high level over a long period of time.In order to reduce the incidence and severity of traffic accidents,we need to make a profound research on the distribution,causes,prediction and preventive measures.The paper concentrates on the impact of objective factors,such as weather conditions,lighting conditions,pavement conditions,road types,road safety facilities,and subjective factors,such as people activities on the occurrence of road accidents.Through a profound study on the distribution,cause analysis and mathematical model of road traffic accidents prediction,this paper puts forward scientific and effective prevention measures to reduce the accident rate and the severity.Based on the research of scholars worldwide,this paper analyzes the subjective and objective factors that affect road traffic safety from four aspects: people,facilities,roads and environment.In order to reasonably analyze the causes of such serious road accidents and explore the influence of relevant factors,the cause analysis based on clustering model and road accident prediction based on random forest model are proposed in this paper.Finally,we establish a mathematical model of road traffic accident severity level prediction through logistic regression.On the basis of our results,this paper puts forward valid suggestions to reduce the incidence and severity of road traffic accidents.
