Humanized Design And Research Of Reading Space In University Library

With the continuous promotion of the reform of the university system and the vigorous development of the education,the scale of running a school is getting larger and larger,and the school buildings are more than ever before.For the university library,it is an important space for scientific research.At present,it can not meet the needs of users,and needs to further meet the needs of users.The key point of school construction is to design and expand it with humanity.As the development of society is changing constantly,the teaching content of colleges and universities has changed dramatically.Especially in recent years,there are three directions for the development of College Teaching: first,reduce the teaching of theoretical knowledge;second,attach importance to the cultivation of students’ self-study ability;third,improve students’ research and development ability.Therefore,the use of the library has gradually developed into an auxiliary means of classroom teaching,which plays a key role in the cultivation of students’ self-study ability and the flexible use of knowledge.According to the relevant investigation,university library is one of the main spaces for teachers to conduct teaching and research,students to learn and exchange.For colleges and universities,the development of libraries,to some extent,is an important embodiment of national education progress and cultural progress.In order to promote the development of science and technology and speed up the transmission of information,the function of university library has changed greatly.For the traditional library,its main function is to read,borrow and return books and manage books.It is impossible for these functions to meet the needs of the current new era.For university library,it can provide teachers and students with important literature information,and provide them with good spiritual food.Therefore,good reading environment and humanized design in the library play a very important role.For the humanized design,it is to analyze human’s physiological and psychological behaviors to design on the basis of meeting the functional requirements.The humanized design of reading space in university library is to show the respect and concern for human nature through the excavation and analysis of the space design.Its main characteristic is to endow the space of design with humanized character,to reflect emotion and spirit with material,the main way of expression is to bring people a different emotional experience and psychological feeling through the change of design elements,that is,moving with emotion.In view of the problems existing in the humanized design of reading space in university library,This paper summarizes the key points of humanized design in University Library through the field investigation and network investigation data as well as the investigation results of readers’ physiological and psychological needs.It mainly studies the rationality of space layout,the comfort of furniture design,the choice of decorative materials,the rationality of lighting,the configuration of indoor greening and the expression of campus culture and history This paper studies the humanized design of reading space in university library,combines and analyzes the excellent design cases at home and abroad,summarizes the design highlights and excellent design elements,and finally summarizes the methods and strategies based on the actual situation of Shenyang University Library.
