| Special vehicles in the city road unhindered is to respond to emergencies of the basic security.It is common for special vehicles such as ambulances and fire trucks to be blocked on our roads,especially near busy intersections.Advances in information and communication technologies have made it possible to design and implement solutions to develop ITS and provide the corresponding services,including the realization of priority access for special vehicles.In this paper,for the situation of special vehicles through urban road intersections,the goal is to realize the priority passage of special vehicles,promote social vehicles to give way to special vehicles actively in space,take signal priority measures in time,and improve the rapid response level of special vehicles through intelligent transportation technology.First of all,this paper proposes a method to determine the yielding of special vehicles at intersections,which can automatically eliminate the violation of the solid line generated by social vehicles at intersections to avoid special vehicles,thus eliminating the concerns of social vehicle drivers and improving the initiative of yielding to special vehicles,thus realizing the priority passage of special vehicles.In addition,the key technology of special vehicles detection based on the improved RetinaNet algorithm is also experimented to prove the effectiveness of the algorithm.Then,the special vehicle signal priority traffic rules at intersections are established,which introduces the special vehicle signal priority control method at the intersection,analyzes the working principle and trigger conditions of the signal controller at the intersection that grants special vehicles priority traffic rights,and proposes the intersection priority passage control process for special vehicles.Finally,under the signal priority rules,based on the two-way four-lane intersection,the simulation experiment platform is built using VISSIM to determine the best trigger point location for special vehicle signal priority that makes the lowest value of each evaluation index,which improves the service level of the special vehicle signal priority system for special vehicles,and then maximizes the promotion of special vehicle priority at the intersection. |
