| The western area of the Nansi Lake is located on the borders of four provinces,Jiangsu,Shandong,Henan,and Anhui.The socio-economic development of this area was restricted by the long-term water shortage caused by the uneven distribution of precipitation during the year,the difficulty to store water on the high terrain,and the contradictions in water use between provinces.In recent years,parts of the water projects in this area were planned as the supporting facilities of the South-to-North Water Diversion.The Zhengji River Water Transmission Expansion project was implemented with a view to optimize the water resource allocation capacity along the basin and alleviate the water shortage in the region.Base on the design and implementation of the Zhengji River Transmission Expansion project,the thesis conduct research and analysis on the balance of water supply and demand in the region uses the annual dynamic data by considering the current situation of socio-economic development and related planning in the scope of the project after a comprehensive investigation of natural geography,hydrogeology and irrigation flood protection projects in the western area of the Nansi Lake.The maximum water flow rate calculated by supply and demand is 80m3/s that from the Eastern Route Phase Ⅰ project of South-to-North Water Diversion to Zhengji River.The final expansion solution is derived from the comparing and selecting of the alternatives based on the current situation of pumping stations along the transmission project,considering the overall layout,the type and number of pumps,the type of inlet and outlet,and the technical parameters and economic indicators.The maximum flow rate of the main pumping station is 55m3/s and the lift is 5.4m,the diversion angle is 30 degrees,and the water is diverted and discharged in the positive direction.The pump adopts a low head,large flow,large diameter vertical axial flow pump(5 units and 1 standby)based on the hydraulic model and structural type calculation.An overall evaluation and analysis were conducted base on the economic benefits and environmental impact of the project.The benefits of irrigation,waterlogging control and flood control are reasonable and feasible.It is of great significance to the alleviation of the groundwater level decline,the enhancement of ecological protection,and the restoration of the ecological environment. |
