Research On The Operational Efficiency Evaluation Of Listed Airports In China

In recent years,with the policy support of opening up private capital into the air transportation industry and the increasingly frequent foreign economic and trade exchanges in China,China’s civil aviation transportation industry continues to develop rapidly,and the speed of airport construction and expansion continues to accelerate.But at the same time,influenced by COVID-19 at home and abroad recently,international passenger transport routes almost stopped,and China’s civil aviation transportation market declined.As an important node of international civil aviation transportation,the operation of large hub airports is seriously affected.With the continuous construction of China’s small and medium-sized airports and the rapid development of high-speed rail,self driving and other modes of transportation,the passenger and cargo throughput of large airports will not be able to continue to grow.In the future,it is more necessary to improve and enhance the operation status by improving their own management level and flight operation support ability.Under the background of the establishment of various airport groups and the listing of many airport companies,higher requirements are put forward for the operation management and operation efficiency of airport enterprises.It is particularly important to establish an evaluation system for the operation efficiency of listed airports in China.This paper first analyzes the development process and research status of operational efficiency evaluation in the field of civil aviation transportation at home and abroad,analyzing the index system and evaluation ideas and models established in the comparative evaluation.And this paper combines with the development of China’s listed airport companies,taking six listed airport companies in China: Beijing Capital Airport,Shanghai(Pudong)Airport,Baiyun Airport,Shenzhen Airport,Xiamen Airport and Meilan Airport as the example.Based on the financial statements,operation data and the development status of the city where the airport is located from 2015 to 2019,this paper evaluates the operation efficiency of these airports.This paper selects three indicators of financial,operation and social contribution of listed airport companies,introduces the idea of relevance degree,and uses matter-element extension model based on entropy weight method for empirical research.Through the comparison of the evaluation results in the same period of horizontal static and different periods of vertical dynamic,it objectively shows the operating efficiency level and changes of China’s listed airports.Combined with the research conclusions,it provides feasible suggestions for enterprises to improve the level of operation and management,improve economic efficiency,and enrich the research results of airport operating efficiency evaluation system.
