Influencing Factors Of Pipeline Companies’ Willingness To Enter The Utility Tunnel Based On SEM

With the rapid development of urbanization in China,the demand of urban residents for public infrastructure facilities is also increasing.Therefore,the construction and development of urban underground utility tunnel began to rise gradually.However,the construction time of utility tunnel in China is relatively short,there are always some difficulties in practice,especially the problem of pipeline companies’ low willingness to enter the utility tunnel.First of all,this study introduced the concept and development process of the utility tunnel,and sorted out the existing research on the utility tunnel and the pipeline companies’ willingness to enter the utility tunnel.At the same time,the development and the application of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology(UTAUT)and the theory of Perceived Risk,and the definition and modeling steps of structural equation modeling method used in this paper are also introduced.Secondly,combined with the characteristics of the utility tunnel and the existing research,the paper used the literature analysis method to identify the influencing factors that restrict the willingness of the pipeline companies’ to enter the utility tunnel.At the same time,the Perceived Risk variable was added to improve the UTAUT model,constructed a theoretical model of pipeline companies’ willingness to enter the utility tunnel with potential variables of performance expectancy,effort expectancy,social influence,facilitating conditions and perceived risk.Used the improved theoretical model to classify the selected 23 indicators to construct the index system,and put forward the relevant research hypothesis.Again,the questionnaire was designed according to the index system,and it was modified through reliability and validity test and exploratory factor analysis of the pretest.Through the network distributed questionnaires to the utility tunnel’s construction and operation parties and pipeline companies.Used SPSS26.0 and AMOS24.0 software to conduct confirmatory factor analysis,model fitting analysis and hypothesis testing analysis on the sample data,and reached the following conclusions:First,the applicability of UTAUT model in this kind of research is very good,based on the improved UTAUT model,a more comprehensive index system of factors affecting pipeline companies’ willingness to enter the utility tunnel can be established.Second,the willingness of pipeline companies to enter the utility tunnel is affected by many factors.Performance expectancy,social influence and facilitating conditions positively affect the willingness of pipeline companies to enter the utility tunnel.Effort expectancy and perceived risk have significantly negative effects on the willingness of pipeline companies to enter the utility tunnel.Finally,in order to effectively enhance the willingness of pipeline companies to enter the gallery,five countermeasures and suggestions are put forward.
