Because of the long laying time and complex terrain,the railway in southwest mountainous area of China is designed with slit lines and widely used in small radius curve.Affected by the wheel state and rail joint,the wheel rail action mechanism in the joint area is complex and the load is large.Therefore,the common speed railway in mountainous area is prone to joint damage,rail wear and ballast slurry turning,which brings great pressure to maintenance work.The seamless line eliminates the rail joint,reduces the impact of wheel and rail,and it is a measure to improve the line capacity and reduce the maintenance workload.With the development of the technology theory of seamless railway,the strength of track parts is gradually improved,so it is feasible to transform and apply the small radius curve seamless line in mountainous area.In addition,the operation method has a great influence on the laying quality of the seamless line during the process of the transformation.Therefore,it is necessary to study the application technology of the small radius curve seamless line in mountainous area combined with the field application,so as to provide support for the optimization of the technical methods of the seamless line transformation.This paper investigates the application status of seamless line in small radius curve section at home and abroad,analyzes the main damage and causes of the track parts of the jointed line.Based on the transformation of the seamless railway in the mountainous area of shuihong railway,the key technologies for the application of the seamless line in mountainous area are studied,and the following basic conclusions are obtained.(1)Because of the existence of rail joints,the effect of wheel and rail on the joint area is increased significantly,which has a negative impact on the track components.The joint area diseases occur frequently and are not easy to be solved fundamentally.(2)At present,there are many kinds of stability technology theories of seamless railway in China.Through the research of "unequal wavelength theory of seamless line",it can be seen that the stability of seamless line is mainly affected by curve radius,initial bending of rail,track bed resistance and fastener performance.(3)In the process of technical transformation of the seamless railway laying in mountainous areas,the operation process,operation method and card control measures can effectively improve the operation progress,quality and safety.Stress release is the key point of technical transformation when laying seamless line,among which the locking state of the faucet fastener,the amount of rail tension,the method of sectional release and the installation position of the drum will affect the temperature of the locked track and the stability of the seamless line.(4)Through statistical analysis of static and dynamic test data,it can be seen that the overall quality of track equipment has been significantly improved after the small radius curve is replaced with seamless line,among which the number of irregularities with static detection peak value exceeding 3mm has decreased by 44.7%,the grade I and II score of rail inspection vehicle are reduced by 75%,and the average value of unit TQI is reduced by 35%.After the reconstruction of seamless line,the maintenance work reduced by about 75%,which can save labor cost in the treatment of damage and line tamping.(5)After laying the seamless line,the maintenance and maintenance work such as rail grinding and line tamping shall be carried out in a targeted way to eliminate rail damage,rail surface and weld irregularity and line irregularity in small radius curve section,and pay attention to fastening status of fasteners.
