| Since the beginning of this Century,the domestic market has become saturated.Driven by the "going global" strategy,going abroad to participate in the bidding and execution of overseas projects has become an important management means for the various engineering contracting companies.EPC Projects have also become a mature engineering model and occupy a leading position in international cooperation.Especially after President Xi Jinping formally proposed the "One Belt One Road" policy in September 2013,Chinese’s engineering contracting enterprises have obtained huge development opportunities,which are manifested in the broader scope and scale of contracting and more countries involved.However,because EPC international projects are easily affected by economic,social,natural and policy factors,and the project itself has the characteristics of cross-regional,long cycle,and difficult management,project contracting companies have gradually exposed risk management,emergencies preventing and responding to the problem of insufficient capacity,the resulting extension of the construction period,rising management costs,and damage to international reputation have increased the operating risks of engineering contracting companies.Therefore,studying how to improve the management level of project personnel and the ability to control project risks is of great significance for engineering companies to enhance their competitiveness and avoid risks.This article combines my own years of experience in international engineering project logistics management,starting from the perspective of international engineering general contractors,using risk management theory to study EPC engineering logistics risk management,which belongs to a branch of international engineering project management.First,it introduces the research background and significance of EPC engineering logistics risk management,expounds the research on risk management and engineering logistics risk management at home and abroad,and introduces the goals of EPC engineering logistics management and risk management theory and method through the introduction of the EPC concept.Secondly,due to the typicality and universal applicability,taking the Nigeria substation transformation project as an example,the Delphi method was used to identify the risk factors of the EPC project logistics management,and the expert survey method was used to evaluate the possibility,outcome and intensity of the risk.Finally,build a risk evaluation model,use the analytic hierarchy process to quantify the risk factors,get the risk rank order,and propose coping strategies.It is hoped that the research in this article will provide new research ideas for "going out" engineering contracting companies in EPC international engineering logistics risk management,and provide reference for other logistics management colleagues who implement power engineering projects overseas. |
