Research On Risk Management Of International Engineering EPC General Contracting Project

With China’s economic development,China’s construction enterprises are expanding international engineering business rapidly.All construction enterprises and large-scale survey and design consultants are also strengthening international business involvement,with increasing international projects.Given that international contractors are facing increasingly higher business requirements and corporate business development.Due to the allocation of resources,economic investment and comprehensive benefits and other aspects,the Employers in the international market prefer EPC Mode,so that EPC Mode to become an international construction contracts in the mainstream model.The study on EPC Mode also continuously receives the attention of many experts and practitioners of project management.Compared to the domestic market,the traditional construction mode,EPC mode has more complex risks.Hence,it is a significant matter for the Chinese enterprises to effectively avoid the risk of contracting process and achieve smooth development in the international engineering market.Research domestic EPC Project risk management is still in its infancy,but the foreign EPC contract due time to carry out early,so foreign companies to experience international engineering EPC Project accumulated more research on the risk that they will be more,This makes our business overseas to compete with foreign companies in the process disadvantages,thus strengthening risk management research and explore overseas project of EPC projects,will be very helpful business of foreign engineering companies to expand their international market international improve business development level,therefore,the study of international engineering EPC Project risk management has a very important practical significance.This paper makes the following studies from the perspectives of the survey and design company to undertake general contracting:(1)Based on the risk factors of EPC highway projects,the different stages of risk and the degree of risk of the frequency and impact of project implementation on the international highway engineering EPC Mode comprehensive risk analysis;(2)Through the analysis of risk factors for road projects of EPC contractors,general risk factors,the typical risk factors,a comprehensive analysis of the factors to understand the extent of impact on the project,while the road of EPC project general contractor faced multiple risk factors for a comprehensive perspective,and concludes risk identification lists of the international highway engineering based on examples of EPC project;(3)A brief description of the advantages and disadvantages of AHP,and the characteristics of the road in EPC projects,based on the basic AHP mathematical analysis of data conversion,significantly reducing the Analytic Hierarchy Process applied to international road project EPC calculation steps and calculation rounds general contracting project risk assessment,and achieved remarkable results.Finally,various measures are proposed to deal with major risks;(4)The initial establishment of the survey and design enterprises to cope with unexpected emergency management system in case of risk events in the international highway project EPC general contracting projects;(5)The combined total Laos Highway Project EPC contract cases are discussed for project risk management,and the conclusion has certain reference value for the management practices of the international highway EPC project.
