Investigation And Study On Plant Landscape Of Road Green Space Around West Lake In Hangzhou

West Lake Scenic Area is the most important symbol of Hangzhou and an important driving force of development,in addition to meandering lakes and mountains,but also with its rich historical and cultural heritage has become the world cultural landscape heritage.As a historical and cultural treasure of China and even the world,the West Lake carries people’s awe for natural landscape,yearning for natural scenery and pursuit of history and culture.The road around the lake is the junction between the city and the West Lake scenic area,which not only profoundly displays the city’s style,but also reflects the unique cultural conservation of the West Lake scenic area.The vegetation landscape on the road around the lake plays an indispensable role in the formation of regional style.At the same time,the construction of the road plant landscape around the lake provides a natural protection barrier for the West Lake,reducing the impact of urban expansion and natural disasters.Therefore,it is of great value to explore the greenbelt plant landscape of the road around the lake,which is less involved in a series of researches on the West Lake.This study of West lake scenic area and the surrounding region collected relevant historical documents,determine Nanshan Road,Beishan Street,Yang Gong Causeway,Hubin Road and so on four main sequences of road as the study area,based on the similar case analysis,field survey,data processing analysis,analytic hierarchy process(AHP)so on field with the method of complete sequences of road greenbelt plant landscape research.The development history of the road around the lake,traffic situation,green space composition type,plant species and plant landscape form,evaluation index of greening level,cultural connotation,and the relationship with the West Lake were systematically studied and evaluated.Specific research results are as follows:(1)The four roads have a long history but different styles.Nanshan Road is an urban leisure scenic belt highlighting the landscape of the West lake and the cultural landscape;Beishan Street is a historical and cultural block integrating the natural and cultural landscape;Yang Gong Causeway is a natural forest tunnel combining the embankment and shaded by trees;and Hubin Road fully displays the features of the combination of city and lake.The traffic conditions from good to good are respectively Yang Gong Causeway,Beishan Street and Nanshan Road,respectively,which have typical characteristics of time distribution,and Hubin Road is not as a pedestrian street.In addition to the Hubin Road without sub-vehicle greenbelt,the greenbelt covers three major road green belt types,namely sub-vehicle greenbelt,roadside tree green belt and roadside green belt.(2)There were abundant plant species in the greenbelt of the road around the lake.A total of 182 plant species were found,belonging to 82 families and 135 genera,and the life forms were 45 species of trees,66 species of shrubs,67 species of herbs and 5 species of liana.The relationship of plant richness is Nanshan Road >Beishan Street> Yang Gong Causeway > Hubin Road.In the aspect of plant landscape appreciation,the main plants are foliage plants,followed by flowering plants,fruit-effect plant and plants with ornamental trunks and branches.The seasonal changes are relatively simple,with good spatial design,and the community structure is basically double layer and multilayer.(3)Based on natural factors,cultural factors,artificial factors three aspects of consideration the AHP method is used to establish the plant landscape evaluation model of the road greenbelt around West lake.By comparing each index of the four roads,the main advantages and disadvantages of the four roads are summarized and analyzed.The evaluation results showed that the four roads around the lake are ranked as Nanshan Road(4.826),Beishan Street(4.715),Yang Gong Causeway(3.989)and Hubin Road(3.959).Among them,Nanshan Road is relatively perfect in all aspects,while Beishan Street is ssomewhat inadequate in the application of plant culture.Yang Gong Causeway needs to strengthen the connection between road and lakeside.Hubin Road focuses on creating the atmosphere of urban commercial pedestrian street,but lacks in the design of plant landscape.Finally,according to the above research and analysis,starting from around the road characteristics,in view of the road greenbelt plant landscape and West lake culture plant community and the problems existing in the road space structure,puts forward the corresponding,suggestions for improvement and optimization strategies.This provides ideas for the sustainable development of the green vegetation landscape of the road around West Lake,and also has certain reference significance for the development and construction of West Lake and its surrounding areas.
